Dinner parties are always my favorite occasions to dress for because they’re my chance to try out a new look or test some new shoes I’m too afraid to commit a full day to. In this case, it was a chance to premiere a tanktop without a jacket (crazy I know). But after a long winter of coats and layers, this was a BIG deal for me. Needless to say I was reminded how much I love spring weather. Lucky for me, this is the first dinner occasions of many as my friends and I end our semester abroad and prepare our final hurrahs. I suppose they’re really just more opportunities to play dressup in the city.

Spring is in the air! Though the weather can’t seem to make up its mind over here, we’re starting to see warmer days. After months heavy of coats and layers it felt nice to throw on a breezy maxi outfit for a change . It made for a perfect day of lounging and twirling in the park with friends.

Let’s go to Paris

For years, I shied away from hats, thinking I needed some fabulous occasion to wear them out.  But after investing in this wide-brimmed when I first arrived in London I’ve realized how very very wrong I was. Hats are the perfect staple for every closet.  They void a need for accessories and put an unmistakeable flair to your outfit.  They’re kind of like stilettos for your head; if you can own ’em, you feel on top of the world
